Welcome to the LEC Network's Eating Disorder EDUcation Center
There are still many mysteries surrounding eating disorders. LEC's founders
have spent over 25 years combined working with individuals struggling with
food related issues. Our experiences, around 25,000 hours of discussion, have
led us to some unique views that we believe need to be presented to the public.
We will be offering audio and video presentations that hopefully highlight
the wisdom that our clients have brought to our discussions over the years.
The presentations here will provide commonly understood notions about disordered
eating coupled with some perspectives that are unique to the literature. We
hope to increase the dialogue about these difficult issues in hopes that we
may find a greater understanding and therefore an ability to view these difficulties
with less curiosity and more helpful, less restrictive, interventions.
